    A month or two ago, i imagined a project to restore old FTP sites and
    make them accessible through alternative DNS settings. Today i found protoweb.org, a project that accomplishes the same thing using a proxy.
    Through this i can access a snapshot of ftp://ftp.cdrom.com from 1997.

    I've been enj0ying protoweb, too.. there a few good retro web solutions that are great these days.
