• Adding an ANSI to the matrix menu

From Diamond Dave@21:1/194 to All on Sat Oct 4 07:49:58 2025
I run Mystic as a "front end" for two other BBSes that I run. I use the matrix menu for users to select one of two BBSes that I run (soon to be three).

I've seen on other BBses where the default matrix menu was replaced with an ANSI menu that the sysop added themselves.

How can I do the same? What would be the name of the ANSI file, what directory should it be located in, etc. And then how do I enable it from the Mystic config?

    Thanks!

I run what you are trying to do. Go into menu settings, then choose matrix menu. Hit / and a menu will come up choose settings, then name the Display file what you want and create your ANSI screen. The ANSI screen will be displayed instead of the base menu..

    Hope that helps..
