That's interesting, that's one story I don't think I'd heard about yet.
Yeah, I think part of the reason it is coming back up now is that most
people are not old enough to remember how horribly that went over. I
don't remember it starting... I was too young... but I do remember there
was a "big deal" made about falling back one year so I am guessing that
was why.
Here's hoping, to be sure. Unfortunately our politicians could well switch ba if it proves to be too unpopular. One tiny bit of hope is that we do/did have few places in the province that didn't observe DST prior to our current chang so maybe, just maybe, we have some voices here already that can preach the benefits of not changing.

Were those areas First Nations? Just curious as I know here in Arizona
they treat it differently than the rest of the state.
