it on/off too. He didn't see the timestamp in my photo, which he thought was further "proof" that it was from a digital camera. My photo actually did have
a timestamp on it, which someone else pointed out to him, and he accepted he had been corrected.
I never had a camera that put the time stamp on the actual photo until I
got a digital camera. All the film cameras I had never even had that
option.
I don't know if it was the camera or the place they got them developed, but some of the photos my family has from around the time I was born, and the
first couple of years of my life, do have dates in the white "margins" that surround the photo. I haven't looked at one in a while, but I think it was
the month and year, along with a small logo (a greyhound?).
