Since Avon is going to stop this, is there an alternative for us?

I don't use it myself but I see advertisements periodically in the othernets area for a usenet service in PKT form from 1:229/426.

I've been seeing that for years so it is a mature setup.

If you want to sign up for an account on my BBS then I can give you
access to my usenet server. You just use your bbs credentials once
    enabled.

    Nick Andre: 1:229/426

    You'll need a binkd server/client setup. He scans/tosses once a day.

    Thanks Shurato :)

I have binkd... or at least I am 99% sure I do, since I use binkd to carry FSXNet, tqwNet, araknet etc etc on my board, and I'm pretty sure you have to have the binkd server port open for that, right?

    Cheers,
    Al
