Hey Folks,

I've released a new version of the AI-WX Weather Door today. If you are not familiar with AI-WX, it's a door that displays weather radar in ANSI and Sixel, weather maps and graphs for weather stations around the globe. The new 1.5 version has 18 additional Sixel weather maps plus a couple of bug fixes. The door comes in several builds, there is a version for Win 32, Win 64, Linux 64, Linux Arm 64 and Linux Arm 32. For nostalgic purposes, the door is released as shareware and is on sale for a limited tim for $4.99 if you use coupon code FALL. That's less than a fancy cup of coffee ;-). All updates are always free to registered users.

AI-WX can be downloaded from my support BBS at firesidebbs.com:23231 (telnet) in the Lone Wolf Software file area. It can also be downloaded and registered (remember coupon code FALL) with a web browser at firesidebbs.com. Registration allows me to justify all the time spent coding it to my wife (see honey, I made a whopping $9.98 last month, actually less than that after PayPal get's it's cut). It's included in the archive but it's named !CHANGES.TXT. Also, version 1.6
was released yesterday (my previous annoucement was for 1.5, but it was short lived as it broke the Alerts). Version 1.6 now includes 29 new Sixel weather maps. The latest version can always be downloaded on my BBS at firesidebbs.com:23231 or on the website at firesidebbs.com.

i can't tell about it on Win7. I run synchronet BBS on Ubuntu Linux. And it works good over here so far.

The door has a lot of DLLs included with it.. I'm running mine on Linux, but I'd have thought maybe the runtime was pre-packged with the door? But maybe not.

The runtimes are packaged with the door. The issue Exodus is having is that Win 7 doesn't support the minimum .NET Framework 4.8 requirement. So the runtime packaged with the door won't function properly under Win 7.

The reason I am on Win7 is the NTVDM in Win10 32 bit is screwed for OLD doors causing some to error out and not run. With be having 1200 doors, I am not going to play does this work or not work everyime windows updates. I am fine on 7 for the BBS. To be honest, I would be on XP if some of the "external" stuff like Python and such doens't work on it.
