  • Is this a bug or am I just losing my mind?

    Hello All ..

    So when I posted to ask about spying on IRC connections I think it's related to this and it has to do with the connection counts and I took a screenshot to show what I'm talking about... I don't know how to insert an image here so I put it on my server here is a link to the image:

    Let me know if there's something I'm missing.. I think the screenshot is self explanitory.

    Yeah, looks like a bug to me (most likely in the ircd). The number of sockets looks like far too many for 4 clients and too few for 57 clients.

    Cool I feel better knowing I'm not crazy :) ... although it's quite possible that hitting 96 degrees in Los Angeles in March has just fried the server lol

    It looks like it's just not subtracting from the active connection count in ircd when a connection closes..

    Yeah, the author of the ircd (Cyan) didn't run sbbsctrl-win32, so he likely didn't look at the client counter very closely and notice those issues.
